Our Visions of Rumsey Photo Contest winner for September is Kelly Casalena!
Is it a Sunrise or a Sunset? Either way, Kelly’s photo was met with “WOW” by the judges.
Kelly will receive a $20.00 gift from the local establishment of her choice: Towne Grill and Pub, Redner's or Sapore Di Mare; compliments of RIRA.

Send your best photo representing this month's theme for a chance to win a $20 Gift Card from a local establishment! Simply email your photo to RIRA@rumseyisland.com. Include your name and street address.

Here's How it Works
- Starting April 2022, each month will have a “theme” (see below for the monthly themes)
- Between the 10th and 20th of each month, submit a picture to participate in the contest by emailing the picture to RIRA@RumseyIsland.com
- Include in the email: Your Name, Phone Number, Address and a Brief Description of why your picture represents the theme of the month
- Submitted photos will be evaluated and the one that best represents the month’s theme will be awarded a $20 gift card to either Joppa Pizza or Sapore de Mare.
- Winning photos will be posted on Facebook and the RIRA website.
The Rules (of course there are always rules!)
- No professional photographers – please
- Participants must live on Rumsey Island – You need not be a member of RIRA
- All submitted photos should be recent photographs
- Photos should be taken in the local Rumsey Island/Joppa area
- Photos should not be edited with advanced editing software (like Photoshop, etc)
- Cropping and basic editing such is available on a cell phone is acceptable
- When possible, please provide the name(s) and phone number(s) of any people in your photo so we can attempt to obtain their permission to post their image on social media should you photo win.
- Children's faces will be blurred out if we are not able to obtain parental permission to post their image on social media
